Prof. Fuqiang Wang has been appointed a University Faculty Scholar

Professor Fuqiang Wang has been appointed a University Faculty Scholar. The University Faculty Scholar program recognizes faculty who are on an accelerated path for academic distinction. This prestigious university recognition goes to select faculty in the College of Science. The term of appointment is five years.

Professor Wang joined Purdue in 2000 and was appointed tenured associate professor in 2004. His research interests include high energy nuclear physics and the STAR experiment at the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider (RHIC) at Brookhaven National Laboratory.
